Or more accurately... they have something to say that is worth listening to. Why? To say something that is meaningful inplies a basic belief in meaning. Where do we get this idea that anything in this world is anything more then randomness or maybe a temporary arrangment of matter that will inevitably me rearranged... most likely without us. Sure, we can find meaning in this temporary state of matter... but is that meaning really worth getting excited about when this universe could end at any second... and if not the universe then at least our own existence.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So why do we go through all of the trouble to communicate with each other if there is no grounds for meaning? Why bother with meaning when it is so temporary? And for those who believe in eternity... what is the meaning of what you have to "say" in light of eternity. Is eternity necessary for a true meaning? Doesn't the wording "meaning" sound really wierd if you say it too much?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So why did I take the time to say this if there is no meaning?
